The Gingerbread House was built in 1898 by one of Virginia City's most prominent citizens, C.W. Rank. This Victorian treasure is located just one block from historic attractions, restaurants and shops. Within the house, two lovely bedrooms await you. The Alder Room with queen bed has a decor that provides simple elegance and morning sun. The Madison Room, with two twin beds, is adorned with antique furnishings and southern exposure. These rooms enjoy a shared bath that has a large old-fashioned tub for the weary traveler to soak away the day. Unique to the House, a half bath was designed and cleverly placed. Guests will enjoy the expansive back porch with a view of several mountain ranges in the distance.
